Spring break this year was one I will not soon forget. I was asked to go with my friend Adora and her parents to Tennessee to explore and house hunt. If you know me well enough you know that looking at houses is something I love to do.

We spent the first couple days of the trip near Nashville. I could have spent so much time there sitting outside in the warm weather and listening to country music. I got to visit my favorite singer, Luke Bryan's, bar and enjoyed the live music playing there. We also got the best nachos from Florida Georgia Line's bar which I would highly recommend if you ever go there.
Before leaving Nashville we went on a tour of the Grand Ole Opry. It was very exciting to see the place where a lot of my favorite artists have performed and even visit frequently.
Then we made our way to the Smokey Mountains. Our house we rented actually was located just inside the Smoky Mountains which was pretty cool to see. Although car rides are not my thing, so I will admit the turning roads leading up to the lake house did not make me feel too great. However, the views in the mountains were breathtaking! The lake house was so beautiful to enjoy! We had the entire lake to ourselves so we spent a lot of time fishing and kayaking on it.

When we went into town to go house hunting throughout the last few days we also stopped at a few local places to eat. One was called GiGi's dinner where we had some of the best corn bread and cherry pie we've ever had. The other was called Full Service BBQ. It was an old gas station turned into a BBQ restaurant. That was probably some of the best BBQ I have ever had too! I even brought some sauce home for my dad to cook a few meals with.

The week went by way to fast, but I will definitely remember this trip for a very long time!
